STAGE 6. Defining the evaluation plan

What steps should be completed?

Step 1: Select the type of evaluation

SAMPLE SELECTION

The sample is the part of the population that participates in a study or intervention. In order for the results of an intervention to be extrapolated to the rest of that population, the sample used has to be representative of it, so that the characteristics of the people that make up the sample are similar to those of the rest of the population.

In the outcome evaluation, information on the size and sociodemographic characteristics of the sample must be provided, as well as the process that has been followed to recruit it.
