AGENTS CAPABLE OF COLLABORATING IN THE INTERVENTION

The following list shows potential areas and agents interested in a drug demand reduction programme. Although it is not intended to be exhaustive, it can help you consider and analyse which people or groups could be potential collaborators in the intervention, either because they are concerned about the drug use problems in the area or because they have an interest in the intervention or the expected results.

  • Educational and social fields: primary and secondary-school teachers, students, university professors, youth educators, sports educators, peer groups, social workers, family workers, community leaders, religious leaders, neighbours, etc.
  • Family environment: fathers and mothers, siblings, legal guardians, etc.
  • Health area: doctors, nurses, psychologists, healers, shamans, specialists, etc.
  • Other areas: media professionals, social entities, public administration, members of the local government, private sector, volunteering, security forces, social networks, etc.
